On the Road #8

There is nothing you can’t walk away from. Don’t forget this. The very things that are offered to you free of charge start to get more expensive. Suddenly you’re paying way to high a price for something you don’t need. It’s one thing to stay someplace for a night, but if you stay for a month, you have to ask yourself what you’re doing. You could have stayed a month back home. Hell, you could have stayed a lifetime. So what are you doing out here again? What’s your path?
A free meal is an amazing blessing. Washing the dishes to get that free meal might be great too. But if you wash the dishes every day in order to get paid in meals, you have to ask yourself what you’re doing. Am I working to support myself? Maybe that’s okay, but you could have done that back home. For a lifetime. and made much more money doing it. So what is this about again?
Don’t get drawn in to things like this. Choose them if you choose them, but don’t allow these things to happen to you without consciously choosing them. Dont let fear tell you that you need them. There is nothing you can’t walk away from. Everything you need, you are.
