If someone seems to need help, it doesn’t mean you should help them. Don’t let guilt motivate you.
if something seems like it’s going to hurt you, it doesn’t mean you should run from it. don’t let fear motivate you.
if something seems like less than, or more difficult than you deserve, it doesn’t mean you should protest. don’t let self-pity motivate you.
all of these things cloud you’re judgment. none of them are the truth. none of them are taking you where you want to go unless they’re taking you to the end of themselves.
